Here at the Nest, we always take cleaning seriously. Our chick’s and client’s health is our top priority so we are taking extra precautions to help keep everyone healthy during this time.
Daily Chick Check
Each morning our chicks arrive for and are prepared to take their temperature and fill out the COVID-19 Health (click here). If they are fever-free, they prepare to head out for the day. If they are running a fever, they are sent home for two weeks.
Chicks are Rocking PPE
Our chicks are wearing disposable gloves (new for each home) and removing their shoes while cleaning your home.
And Washing Our Hands
Our chicks are vigilant about washing their hands and use hand sanitizer regularly.
Social Distancing
We are currently staggering shifts so that we don’t have more than 10 people at the Nest at a time. During the day, we have limited our operational staff at the Nest. If requested, we will text you before, and after your appointment, so you can leave while we clean. You could sit outside or go for a walk!!
Disinfecting Our Tools and Spaces
All of our cleaning cloths and microfiber mops are bleached daily back at the Nest for everyone’s safety and protection. The chicks will use multiple CLEAN and DISINFECTED mop heads and cloths in your home or business. We are also disinfecting the Nest and chick mobiles twice daily.
And Adjusting Our Methods
We have added a disinfection step to our cleaning process that includes an EPA certified product that is effective against emerging pathogens like the COVID-19. We are using this on all “Hot spot” areas in your home like doorknobs and light switches. See the list here. We do not take this added step lightly, but believe it is a sound additional precaution at this time.
We Always Keep it Clean
We do not use buckets of contaminated water to mop your floors (never have). We spray cleaner on the floor and mop with a microfiber mop head (multiple heads used in your home for different rooms) and washed and disinfected back here at the Nest.
Our green microfiber cloths are ideal for cleaning areas that need to stay clean and bacteria-free, such as the kitchen and bathroom and high touch areas. With microfiber’s ability to trap bacteria, it can help to eliminate germs and keep your surfaces disinfected.
